No I don’t believe that personal success in one field or endeavor leads to success in other fields because if person is having mastery in any field that means s/he has spent a lot of time in that particular area. S/he has a lot of good and bad experience on it then s/he is able to cope up with situation.
If person is not having enough experience or expertise in other area then it may be failed at long time. Initially s/he may be on the track but if s/he wants to succeed then a person need to have thorough knowledge of its field. Here lets we take an example of Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar. He is playing cricket since his school days. To bat is his core competence. He can bat at any position and is able to handle the situation. Now he suppose want to start his new business of retailing then we cant say that he won’t be succeed as much as Kishor Biyani in retailing. Yes if the person wants to diversify his field then he may be able to coup up with things and can make a long way to another field. Let’s see another example. We are all know Ambani group now if they want to jump into another business then there is much more possibility of success because they know the market situation and they have enough knowledge in that area.
